  I worked with dustin mclaurin at walmart in Clayton, NC and people this isn't the first underage girl he had intercourse with! He is a disgusting individual who diserves his punishment!!! I feel sorry for his girlfriend because she is pregnant with his child!

  And why an 11 year old.. you seriously just messed up the rest of her life.. if proven guilty. You couldnt have just gone with a prostitute and gave her a few bucks and she would have been more than pleased to do you.. or you couldnt have just done yourself and got off with that satisfaction.   Rape is all about power, dominance and violence. It's not even about the "sex". A person (usually a man) who has little or no control over his own life can excercise control over someone elses - someone he perceives as weaker. It gives them a sense of control over someone or something, as the object of their violence is little more than a thing to them. It's a sick and sorry way to gain some control in their own life. To the comments below.. yeah now a days it is really hard to tell the age of woman. I being a 19 year old woman myself.. when I was younger I looked a lot older than I was.. but seriously come on an 11 year old.. she hasnt even hit puberty yet. I know this guy personally.. and it wouldnt surprise me in the least if he has done this. The way he acts, talks, and behaves around people. To him this was all I'm sure just a joke or some kind of bet.. that or he was completely drunk or on drugs like most of the time. He deserves to be locked up.

  I agree with LL -- girls these days look a lot older than they really are. and yes what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty?? everyone needs to stop judging him until this case is over with. i have known this guy for years now and i know he would have never done such a thing. some people need attention and for all we know this little girl could be craving attention from her parents...

  Well....I go to college with this guy, He did it, He told us he did. The story was first that she was 14 but he thought she was 18, none of us really said much. But 11?!?! WTF?!?! Bro.....11 year old girls do not look old enough for a 19 year old man to be messing with, 11 year old girls look like they should be doing thier homework.

  REGARDLESS having sex with a MINOR IS ILLEGAL I don't care if they are 19 or 99 it is wrong and illegal and EVERYONE KNOWS what happens when they are labelled and convicted as a sex offender now, so why dose it keep happening???Also I am sure the child or GIRL said NO STOP NO STOP and that is EXACTLY what should be done.If someone says NO it MEANS NO, don't try and put this on the child a MAN should have enough SELF CONTROL to control his urges or pleasure himself thank you very much!!!

  How can you all sit there and condemn ALL of these offenders. Have you seen girls these days? My children all look like they are 5 or 6 years older than they really are. A 19 yr old teenager cannot distinguish ages on another teen especially if they lie to him. So many young men are stooped into having sex with young girls blindly, going into the relationship thinking they are of age when in fact, the girl had lied just because she wanted to have sex with an older boy. In these cases where the girl admits that she was a willing participate in the sex, the court should not label the young man a sex offender because it will follow him for the rest of his life; and when the general public hears these words they automatically think he is a rapist. People need to think twice before judging other people before all the details are released. I don't want messages saying anything about "well I didn't mean this guy, just in general" because that would be a lie. You are willingly commenting on this particular story so you already made your mind up about HIM. Just remember that there are girls out there dying to have sex and would do anything to try it out and get what they want. Some think its cool.

  There is a similar story back in another town and it doesn't seem like the accused is ever capable of such horrific and desperate acts on someone.There are many that make this kind of behavior seem OK.It is sad in every possible slant on the child's life.She will overcome.I feel for her and her family.

  No punishment could ever be imposed on such an individual that would be too cruel or unusal to repair the damage he spawned and forced onto an innocent child. Sex offenders, murderers and rapist are the very pit of repulsion. None, should ever be released from prison. The scars of his violation will remain with the child long after this scurge is dead.
