CARY, N.C. -
Crews continue working on improvements to the Academy Street railroad crossing in downtown Cary.
The work means that the crossing just north of Chatham Street is closed for, and traffic is being detoured.
CSX workers have been digging out the old crossing and lines and replacing them with new ones.
The work should wrap up on Thursday.
