CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -
East Franklin Street will be closed to through traffic between Boundary Avenue and Glendale Drive until approximately 2:00 pm today. A utility pole was struck in a single vehicle accident and utility crews will replace the pole prior to the street being reopened.
There were no serious injuries. Names of those involved are not being released at this time. The investigation is ongoing. No further details at this time.
