The questions should be asked whose answers would reflect the magnitude and horror the victems of their crimes have endured through their lives, not to mention those left behind who have no doubt held fast to memory of their loved one lost to violence. Society should never reward criminals for committing crimes and subsequently behaving well, as their debt to society can never be paid. Another gleeming example of misguided humanity wishing to set free the aching souls of murderers and rapist. Let every North Carolinian review the evidence of each crime, and I remain confident these individuals would forever (life) remain behind bars.

I must say yes because it's the law. Although this goes back to 1974 I must question what our law makers were thinking! They could have made the new guidance/law - whatever it may be - retroactive to include those convited under the old law. Our lawmakers have a great responsibility and we voters must choose them carefully.
