HARNETT COUNTY, N.C.
Everyone is okay after a head-on crash involving three vehicles in the 4500 block of NC 210 South near Temple Road in Harnett County, according Highway Patrol.
Emergency crews arrived to the scene around 6 a.m. Monday.
Ratcliffe Watson of Spring Lake was driving northbound on NC 210 was he illegally passed another vehicle in a no passing zone. Watson hit a car when he drove back in the northbound lane, causing him to back into the southbound lane. Watson was then hit by John Kearns of Lillington. Watson's vehicle was split in half.
No one suffered major injuries.
Watson faces reckless driving and illegal passing charges.
The road was closed for some time, but has since reopened.
