RALEIGH, N.C. -
Raleigh Police say an intruder entered an apartment in the 1200 block of University Court Tuesday that resulted in a double shooting.
The apartment's tenant and the intruder got into an altercation, during which the tenant was shot. The tenant was able to gain control of the gun and fired a shot back, which hit the suspect.
The suspect fled the scene on foot while the tenant drove to a friend's house and was later transported to a hospital.
Police say a man with a gunshot wound walked into a nearby hospital but it was not clear if that was indeed the suspect or not.
Police are at the scene of the incident. No arrests have been made.
