FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -
Investigators in Fayetteville are looking into two suspicious fires overnight in a neighborhood off of Rivercliff Road.
Police responded to the area just after 3:25 a.m. after receiving a fire call. Fayetteville police said officers found a vacant home fully engulfed near the intersection of Rivercliff Road and Eastwood Avenue.
Then, while evacuating other residents in the area, officers also found another vacant home on fire on the north side of Rivercliff Road.
Several fire units responded to the scene to battle the fires. There were no injuries. The fires remain under investigation.
