A Jacksonville man is charged with breaking into over three hundred North Carolina homes.
Onslow county investigators arrested Thomas Ruckman, 34, Friday evening.
Investigators say Ruckman has been on a crime spree for the last year and a half, breaking into homes in Onslow, Pender, Craven, Jones, Duplin, Brunswick, Carteret and New Hanover counties.
In Onslow county, authorities say Ruckman has broken into over 100 homes, accounting for the lose of approximately $125,000.00.
Deputies caught up with Ruckman at a convenience store where he was arrested without incident.
Ruckman faces over 150 charges of breaking and entering along with possession of stolen property, obtaining property by false pretense, conspiracy and child abuse.
He remains behind bars under a $425,000 bond.
