GREENSBORO, N.C.

Officials say seven of the 33 babies who may have been exposed to H1N1 swine flu have been sent home from a North Carolina hospital and that none show flu symptoms.

The News & Record of Greensboro reported Tuesday that a respiratory therapist who unknowingly exposed the babies at The Women's Hospital tested positive for the virus last week. The babies are in the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit.

Hospital officials are asking anyone with flu-like symptoms to stay at home away from others, drink fluids and use over-the-counter medicine to treat their symptoms.

State regulators have visited the Greensboro facility to look at policies and procedures.
