Sports Cups Recalled Due To Breakage

The following recalls have been announced:

  • About 211,000 Under Armour athletic cups, manufactured in China and imported by Under Armour Inc. of Baltimore, Md., because they can break if hit. The company has received five reports of cups breaking, including one report of an injury. The recalled cups were sold at sporting goods stores and Under Armour outlets around the country and at www.underarmour.com between January 2006 and March 2009.   • About 44,000 Majestic 360 floor cleaners, manufactured in the United States by HMI Industries Inc. of Strongsville, Ohio, because the wiring can overheat and pose a burn hazard. The company has received 40 reports of overheating and damaged carpets. The recalled cleaners were sold by independent distributors around the country between September 2004 and August 2006.
