CaptionUPDATE: Fayetteville Police on Sunday arrested the suspect in several armed robbery cases.
Police said they arrested Oren Kendell Cameron, 35, after they said he robbed a Kangaroo store on 736 S. Reilly Road.
Cameron is charged in seven cases of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and two additional cases of Common Law Robbery in the following robberies:

• RWDW Sunoco Major Mart 6295 Yadkin Rd occurred 1/18/09
• RWDW Sunoco Major Mart 6295 Yadkin Rd occurred 1/19/09
• RWDW BP/Amoco 101 N. Reilly Rd occurred 1/22/09
• RWDW Kangaroo 6489 Yadkin Rd occurred 1/23/09
• RWDW Kangaroo 6489 Yadkin Rd occurred 1/24/09
• RWDW Kangaroo 6489 Yadkin Rd occurred 1/25/09
• Common Law Robbery Kangaroo 100 S. Reilly Rd occurred 1/25/09
• Common Law Robbery Kangaroo 736 S. Reilly Rd occurred 1/25/09

The Fayetteville Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted for armed robbery.
On Sunday, Jan. 18, officers responded to Major Mart, 6295 Yadkin Road, in reference to an armed robbery. On Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, the Kangaroo Mart located at 6489 Yadkin Road was robbed by a subject matching the description of the previous night's incident.
On Thursday, officers once again responded to a 911 call regarding an armed robbery that had just taken place at the BP Amoco, 101 N. Reilly Road.
The investigation into these incidents has revealed that the suspect is that of 35-year-old Oren Kendell Cameron. Cameron is described as a male, about 5 feet, 10 inches and 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with orange lining and a fur hood. Cameron is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen in the LaGrange and Summerhill area.
