FT. BRAGG, N.C. --

A new toy will get Fort Bragg paratroopers a chance to earn foreign jump wings at the post's annual charity jump.

The post hosts the Randy Oler Memorial Operation Toy Drop this weekend. Registration will take place Friday and selected paratroopers will jump Saturday.

Paratroopers earn will earn either German or Irish jump wings. Foreign wings are awarded after a jump with another country's jumpmaster. More than 3,000 paratroopers are expected to donate over $55,000 worth of toys.

Founded in 1998, the event was renamed in 2004 after Oler died of a heart attack during a jump.
