Officers seized nearly 350 marijuana plants and arrested two people after raiding a North Carolina house they said was used only to grow the plants.
The Times-News of Hendersonville reported Wednesday that the Henderson County Sheriff's Office said 27-year-old Geoffrey Bleichner and his 24-year-old wife, Megan Bleichner, are charged with seven drug charges, including trafficking of marijuana.
Sheriff's spokesman Capt. Charlie McDonald said the residence had been remodeled to handle a large marijuana growing and processing operation.
McDonald said the house contained grow lights and tables. The marijuana had an estimated value of nearly $833,000.
