DURHAM, N.C. -
Police are attempting to identify several people allegedly involved in an organized check counterfeit check cashing ring.
According to police, the false cashed checks have caused a financial loss to RBC Bank, located at 3412 Westgate Drive, of $9,561.15
Several transactions were made at the branch between Sept. 9 and 23.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Detective C.J. Lear at 560-4440, ext. 29327 or CrimeStoppers at 683-1200.
